This page was created on 7-08-2014. I signed up for Go Fund Me last October to check it out for production purposes but never activated anything, for some reason this is using that page (probably because I don't know what I am doing). Oops!
I am still very much in need of donations and positive thoughts. I have had this page up about a month now, and have only managed to just break $1,000. Every little bit helps, but I have seen these pages reach goal amounts in a day. So, maybe I am just not doing something right? Please read my info below, and thank you.

I am a 32 year old mother of one toddler. She is awesome, amazing, my everything. I almost died having her, and cannot have anymore children- so, every moment with her is precious. I have recently been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and will be incurring a lot of expenses in relation to travel to and from the hospital (100 miles or so away, so 200 round trip), clinics, and care and services that are not covered by insurance. The bill for the specialist for reading my slides is anticipated to be up to $3,000. I am not really sure how much debt I will be incurring- but, I appreciate anything you might be willing to give, and any prayers or positive energy additionally or instead (I know times are tough). I am very hopeful, but any alleviation of financial stressors would be SO VERY APPRECIATED.
An Update--- During surgery, one of my vocal cords was injured. I cannot talk very loud, or for very long. This is yet another unforseen turn of events. I am not sure if my voice will be restored naturally, or if I will have to undergo another surgery, and neither are the specialists. On the positive side of things, the cancer was not found in my lymph nodes or blood vessels, but I do still have to undergo radiation therapy due to the size of the tumor they removed (2 1/2inches). I also had to have extra travel, blood draws, and a hospital stay due to low calcium. It was very scary, and caused my partner to miss even more work. I am just stabalizing now after 3 weeks. I FINALLY get to cut back on all the meds! Woot! But am still being closely monitored with weekly blood draws.
I expect my isolation to begin in September- I will have to be alone due to the radioactive iodine treatment. My house is small, and my toddler wiley! This is the most daunting part for me so far. To not be able to hug or hold my child for a week or so. I know people go longer, but not me. I hug her every day. Please consider donating. It has been a struggle as of late to swing everything. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every message, every donation, is so profoundly appreciated by our family.
