Marcel-A-Thon- help me get surgery

Ok- many of our friends know that Marcel and I have been dealing with a health crisis he is having for some time now. Basically, he has got something going on with his bladder- it could be a stone, but the vet also thinks it could be bladder cancer. In any event, he is in pain, and I am very sad and stressed by the situation, and I am wanting to get the best possible care for him that I can. So far, we have had him on prescription food, and various medications. He has had 2 sets of x-rays, an ultrasound, several blood and urine tests, and now it appears the only thing left to do is surgery. The surgery may only be to make the mass a bit smaller, and get a biopsy. Since the mass is located in a part of the bladder where it is difficult, or not even possible to remove it (and that is when it would only involve a biopsy, but either way they need to open him up), the surgery has to be done at a specialty center and, as one might imagine, its quite costly. But also, it is the only way to confirm if he does have cancer (obviously we are praying he does not) and then we can know how to proceed from there. I have maxed out my credit card and most other sources already covering his various tests, medications, and office visits. Marcel has been my best friend and my source of laughter and artistic inspiration, and subject of many small books and drawings-
he is always a good sport, and loves people, cars, stuffed toys, croissants, and life in general.
