Medical Missions to Lima, Peru

Solidarity Experiences Abroad is raising funds to support our 2016 medical missions in Lima, Peru. Each February we serve over 3,000 Peruvians living in poverty. Throughout our 3-day campaign, we provide patients with access to a selection of health care professionals including general physicians, pediatricians, dentisits, opthamologisits, registered nurses, and more. We need your support. Every donation made will go towards purchasing well-needed medications and supplies to help make this campaign a success. 


Many of our patients live in shantytowns on the outskirts of Lima and do not have access or the resources necessary to see a doctor or purchase medicine. The harsh demands of living in poverty and the high cost of medications creates a challenging living environment. 


Through your donations we can reach more residents of this area. As an important component of our campaign, we also employ local healthcare professionals to promote personal hygiene and oral health, as well as to educate the patients about common local illnesses such as cholera, tuberculosis, headlice and STD's.
