Pennies FUR Pets was founded in 2011, by then, 8 year-old Eleanor who read in the paper that over 19,000 pets were being killed in her city alone. So she partnered with the Animal Rescue League of El Paso to make a difference.  To date she has collected more than $17.500 to help homeless animals.
