Jamaica Field Service Project

I have been selected to participate in the Jamaica Field Service Project!
"The Jamaica Field Service Project is an ongoing service learning program accredited by the State University of New York, which is open to university students from participating universities from across the US and Canada.

The JAFSP brings school supplies, tutors, musical instruments and instruction to the schools of Jamaica five times yearly, with the support of the Rotary, Peace Corp, and the Claudia Williams HIV Education Center of Jamaica. Trips also include music-therapy and community health students who do volunteer work in the area care centers, all under the supervision of our accredited supervisors and professors."

June 19-29 I will be providing music therapy to infirmaries, special need schools and homeless shelters in the parish of Westmoreland. During my field work I will be experiencing the Jamaican culture and learning Afro-Caribbean drumming techniques.

Please help me give provide a service to those who truly need it.
Thank you!
