Unforseen Home Repairs

Donation protected
I was so excited last Nov to buy my first house. I finally qualified for use of my VA home loan and I had worked very hard to improve my credit. I trusted in the real estate agent I found to help me find the best property and help me through the whole process.
She took me to several properties but really pushed me hard in the direction of a large 3 family home in the heart of Hampton. It is "that house" in the neighborhood that looks really neglected but has so much potential.
I was never afraid of some cosmetic work and she assured me the house was sturdy. I used the home inspector she recommended and took her and the inspector for their words (and signatures). It came fully rented but with one apartment that she eagerly told me would need some cosmetic work to be ready for me to move in.
It was important for me to occupy the home as it is unrealistic to afford a rent, a mortgage, home repair bills and other life bills.
Well I am now fully engulfed in a lawsuit against the parties involved in the sale. They made so many illegal misrepresentations that I am now left with a house I cannot rent out, cannot live in and cannot afford to fix. I have sunk a lot of money into it already doing things I was assured did not need to be done.
I was also told that the apartments were all legal and there were no code issues (it came fully rented too).
I now have way too many items to repair than I can afford just to make it safe, legal and livable so the town will let me rent it out. I also cannot live in any of the apartments until it is made safe and livable.
I am now carrying legal fees, a mortgage, and utilities on that house, a rent, utilities on my rental I live in, and a lot of repair bills.
Instead of going up my credit is going down thanks to debts from making repairs I had not anticipated yet. I don't have the equity or credit to get a more loans for repairs and the lawsuit could take awhile.
Some of the repairs I have to make are black mold removal, complete subfloor reno (improper subflooring led to mold growth), foundation crack repair, decking repair (decks not to town code), dangerous wiring repair, window replacement, door replacement and a whole lot of other things.
If I was just able to make the repairs to make the property legally habitable then I could move in and eliminate the expense of renting another house for myself and my dogs.
Something has to give. I hate to ask for help but I need it right now. I know so many people are having a harder time than me and my hope is that I can give back what I get later in life to someone else in need.

I really appreciate any help anyone can afford. Again I know it is tough out there and I am not used to needing the help but this time I do need it.
Thank you,
