My name is Aubrey Joseph, and I have a question for you. Do you dream? I bet you do, don't you? Have you had a dream that could not or could never come true, simply because you don't have the money or resources? I have a dream like that, too. My dream, is to enter a foreign exchange program, with the AFS Cultural Exchange Foundation. My dream, is to go to Japan.
However, I come from a single-parent household, and my mom is already working hard as it is"”just to put a roof over our heads and food on the table. Right now, going there seems like a far-off fantasy. And maybe you think it should stay that way. No, I say, that I am a rising technology student in the Academy of Computer Game Design at Middleton High School. No, I say again, I have already achieved my first of many certifications in my Information Technology class. No, I say for the third time, Japan is one of the top-ranking countries in technology, design, and research!
Remember Sony? Remember Nintendo? I think experiencing the culture of this country and the nationality I could be working with someday will really forward my career as well as teach me more about this great, big world that we live in.
