Team Canada Powerboat

Donation protected
We plan on being first team to represent Canada at the Nations Cup in 2014.

Powerboat racing is Tammy's life passion. She started racing at age 18 and competed in Formula 2, Formula 3, Formula V and SST 90. There is no doubt that she is one of the top competitors in the USA.

Tammy is the first and only Canadian to compete at the world famous 24 Heures de Rouen (24 Hours of Rouen) in France. Her all-female team finished 4th in Formula 2 and 9th overall, beating some Formula 1 teams.

The UIM F1H2O Nations Cup is a new approach to the
spectacular sport of inshore/formula circuit racing, placing the
emphasis on team participation and country sucess, rather
than that of individual driver ability and sucess.
Each National team is backed by its UIM sanctioned National
Aut hority and runs two boats, with two to four drivers
sharing practice, qualifying and racing responsibilities
over a Grand Prix weekend.

These single-seater tunnel hulls are capable of breathtaking acceleration, high speeds and exceptional maneuverability. Each boat is approximately six meters in length, two meters wide, weighs 455kgs and powered by a 2.5 liter, 225 HP Mercury Optimax 200XS SST engine.

Teams consist of a maximum of ten countries and 20 race boats are eligible to compete in Nations Cup.
Each national team is made
up of:
"¢ two drivers and one/
two reserve drivers
"¢ team manager
"¢ one radioman
"¢ two mechanics

Races include:
- Malasia
- Qatar
- UAE
