Dear Friends and Colleagues,
In February 2014 I will be attending my first oversees humanitarian project in my life at the ripe young age of 63 and have chosen a medical/community services junket to the mountain region in the State of Colima Mexico. It is a true nonpolitical organization called Project Amigo and can be found at their web site www.projectamigo.org. During the project I will be assisting a team of medical professionals administer much needed care to those who haven't the access as we, along with bringing community based services and items to work camps and orphanages.
As many of you know I have been a member of the Brewster Rotary Club and as a member we have raised money over the years to send out to such projects all across the globe. I've always wanted to be a part of such a hands on program, like Project Amigo, which is a Rotary International recognized organization.
Should you find yourself wanting and able to contribute to my adventure please consider doing so and using the Brewster Rotary Club to make your contribution to and mark off your contribution for Project Amigo specific in the Memo slot. We have a $10,000.00 commitment to this project and do want you to know that I am going regardless of the amount of donations we are fortunate enough to raise, and will assure to you that any and all monies that I collect will go to the project 100%.
