Mentawai Trip-2014!

I am on a mission....a mission to raise funds to travel across the world to a little village in Indonesia called Mentawai. I will be going with some big-hearted people from my church to help make an impact in these villages by helping to educate and equip the community. The things we, in the United States, could not imagine living without (basic hygiene skills, clean water, plentiful amounts of nutritious food) are things that the people in Mentawai are working hard to obtain.
My husband will stay at home with the kids while I head out on this mission. I will miss them all terribly but am hopeful that my kids learn from this experience, despite staying stateside. When you are given a servants heart, you must take it and use it. Although I am going to help change the lives of the people in Mentawai, I also know that it is MY life that will be changed the most. I am so excited to be a part of their community for two weeks and am in awe at how life changing this trip already is (and I haven't even left!!).
I am asking for help in funding this trip....and have a strict deadline to meet of December 15, 2013. I am sure there are many of you who would love to help these people but traveling there is not something you could do....I will graciously accept donations on your behalf and will keep you posted on my progress as well as the experience of a lifetime. :-)
We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Romans 15:1
