Logans Ongoing Medical Expense

This is our only grandchild Logan Simmons..He is a wonderful, smart, and loving 17 month old child who doesnt even know he has a serious problem. He likely just thinks coughing and chocking are part of life. Of late, he chokes on food and milk because it goes down the wrong pipe. Last week he was taken to Cooks Childrens Hospital for testing. The temporary diagnosis is some problem with his esophagus seperating food and air. There must be many more trips and testing to decide the course to repair this condition. Then another (or several) 438 mile roundtrips for the method of curing. We (mother, grandmother, and grandfather are struggling with the costs of transport, food, lodging, and meds.. Not to mention the loss of income during the trips.. As a family of this little angel, we seek your love, prayers and hopefully financial help for this challenge.
