Global Shaman Book and Scroll Project

I would like to raise funds to make a manuscript Book that will last far into the future and help teach what we know about the universe. Technology is carrying us to new places in the infomation age yet, the book with its bonded pages and images still has a place in our world. You don't need to plug it in... it doesn't glow in the dark... it sits quietly waiting for you with its stories, facts and fantasy. Books have been found that are thousands of years old.

I invision this book project as ongoing with many future authors that carry the creative and informative images forward adding their voice and more volumes as we grow and evolve. The book becomes a living tradition passed on and passed down through generations.

I want the book to remain neutral and not to bias toward a religion or ideology. The book is designed to motivate deeper curiousity in the arts and sciences with the goal of creating its own offshoots.

I want to make the book with traditional methods. Hand sewn binding and leather cover. I invision the book as large (24"x48"). The pages will be drawn and then bound into the volume. I will use archival drawing papers, inks, paints and other drawing materials. The book will have fold out scrolls and maps that document the history of the Comos, and life here on earth through imagery that is scientific, symbolic, archetypal and universal. In the future who ever opens this book will see the unfolding images from our past as recorded on an illuminated page.

Unique features of the book will images layered and drawn with inks that are latent until exposed to particular wave lengths such as ultra violet. This is to imply the mystery... that which is hidden.

Once the book is finished it will travel to public libraries around the world for others to enjoy. This is probably the most important part of the project.

The amount of money I'm seeking to raise is to cover the costs for the materials, binding, finishing, research and the start up funding for send the book to libraries.

I would like to start this in January 2014. and finish it by the end of 2016

Adhi's brief Bio:

I am an artist, researcher who is very curious about the world and how it works. I have been navigating the planet as a taditionally trained Shaman and professional mischief maker for 25 years. Next year starts my 50th year on the planet and I thought its time for me to share some of my insights and create something to inspire others to explore and ponder all the big questions. I have always believed that books and art are the magical glue keeps everything running...
