Road to India
Donation protected
I fell in love with India when I was 10. Watching movies like A Little Princess and The Secret Garden; later on books like Victoria Holt's The India Fan, I knew that India was a place I wanted to see with my own eyes. Growing up in New York City has been wonderful, but there's so much more I want to see while I still have the time.
And so now I'm planning the trip of a lifetime! Three weeks volunteering at an orphanage in New Delhi, India with International Volunteers HQ. This is my way of enjoying a totally new experience while also giving back (win-win!!!). I will be saving as much as I can, but any donations big or small (though no donation is too small) would be appreciated. They will be applied to program fees and flight costs in addition to gifts & supplies for the kids. Every dollar counts!
Thank you so much for your consideration and generosity :)
P.S. I'll be blogging about this whole experience at http://shenanswithkrys.wordpress.com/
