Thank you for the ongoing support and prayers! Our family is trying to get back to normal. The last 10 months have been quite trying but we continue to trust in our Lord and savior and watch as his blessings fall into place. Jason is doing amazing. He is walking and returned to work at the end of March. Jason had surgery this past Wednesday May 14th to correct some issues from his fall but he is doing amazing and is expected to be released sooner than expected. Rylee is also doing well. She had her last surgery in April and even though she will not regain her central vision the surgeries did help and she is adjusting just fine. We feel blessed with Rylee's condition that we have been giving the opportunity to share her story.
Jason's story continues on.. Waiting for the body to heal is like watching a pot to boil. At times it feels like it will never happen. November 8th will bring more results if the pelvis fixator can be removed. But, as we all wait the calendar continues to move bringing the Holiday season upon us.
Jason has not worked in 88 days. Tara has gone back to work on a full time / part time basis. Medical bills continue to grow, household bills continue, and now Christmas.
PLEASE add Rylee, Morgan, Jason and Tara to your Christmas gift and prayer list. You can mail them a gift directly to: 4941 Bakersfield Drive, Nesbit, MS 38651 or donate to this page.
Please join Jason's prayer team as we Stand in the Gap during this time.
Expenses, bills, gas, food, medical equipment for the house, ramps in and around the house, loss of wages.... While we each continue on our regular routines these are the things adding up minute by minute in the Taylor household.
Tara is currently driving 50+ miles back and forth to the Med daily, plus $4.00 to park (if you leave and come back you have to pay again).
Give where God leads your heart and help where you can. Even a $10.00 gas card helps!! If you would like to mail something directly to their home contact me by e-mailing.
IF this was your husband/wife, how would you hope others would respond?
I'm sure we lose a lot of blessings we never even know about simply because we fail to do for others what we would like to have done for us. We always want to be blessed by others, but do we take the initiative to unselfishly bless them first?
Instead of sitting around, focusing on yourself, waiting for blessings to come your way, it's time to actively make sacrifices and serve the people God has placed in your life. Be a servant and make others the focus.
Instead of feeling rejected and ignored, you'll be amazed at how your relationships improve when you treat others the way you want to be treated.
Prayer Starter: God, I have nothing to gain by living a selfish life. Instead of waiting for people to be good to me, I'm going to be good to them first, treating them the way I want to be treated.
Matthew 7:12 NIV
"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."
Jason, Tara, Morgan, Rylee, Nancy, Tina, Taz, Aaron, Ashleigh, Grace, and so many more family members ALL need your love and support right now. Make a meal, send a card, send flowers, call, give your time even when it's inconvenient, give your heart, add the family to a prayer list, PRAY!
Ask yourself WHAT would you want your friends to do for YOU, then GO DO IT!
Monday, September 2, 2013 was an amazing day for Jason & Tara. With the help of so many showing God's love by donating to this page, the family was able to purchase an Angel Flight ( a medical flight) back to Memphis. Jason and Tara were picked up via ambulance before heading to the airport. Their journey was smooth and the Angel Flight crew truly gave them first class service.
Jason is now settled in to the ICU at The Med. He has already had several tubes removed and even got to sit up in a chair and enjoy ice chips.
The best part is the hospital doctors encouraged Tara to bring their daughters up to see Jason right away.
Official word given today! Angel Flight will be leaving tomorrow morning (Monday, 9/2/13) at 10am PST. Please be praying for safe travel for Jason, Tara and the medical crew. We are beyond excited to reunite them both with the girls and extended family. Jason will now be in the ICU at The Med in downtown Memphis.
looks like Monday will be the day Jason and Tara are able to head back to Memphis. Jason will be in the ICU at THE MED and Tara will be able to be with her girls and family. Also, she will be able to be at Jason's bedside. Thank you all so much for your generous donations to help bring my brother Jason home. Our family is overwhelmed by the out pouring love and prayers we have received.
Day 18 in the ICU and still in Cali. Infection has set in and is the newest battle. As you can see by the picture, the doctors are pumping Jason full of medication and fluids. Please continue to pray! Medical bills are stacking up daily along with bills for Tara's stay. Please share and give where your heart leads. Thank you.
Tara would like to thank you all so much for your generous donations. We are very blessed. The doctors are saying as early as Tuesday he could be flying home. We are praying that can happen. We are half way to 20,000 which is the cost of the flight. Thank you all so much.
8/17/13 - From Jason's wife Tara: "We are hoping to take the Angel Flight to Memphis next week. Our insurance will not be providing coverage for the transport because they feel that if we want to move to a higher level of care the insurance company feels that there are plenty of hospitals in California that we can move him to. Moving him in Cali would cost less than a move home to Memphis. The insurance is not concerned that we are over 2000 miles from our kids and our home. Please help us get home to our children, family and friends. Share our story.. "
After a 45ft fall, prayer and the Grace of God Jason is now up, walking and back to work. August 7, 2014 drastically changed the lives of the entire Taylor family. God continues to cover their hearts and needs. They are so thankful for all of the prayers and donations. However, 9 months of bills sit in a pile. Jason's story is not over and the bills will continue to mount. Several more surgeries are still needed along with more physical therapy.Learn more about Jason at:
Rylee, Jason & Tara's daughter has recently been diagnosed with Coats disease in her eyes. She has lost nearly all sight in one eye. 2 surgeries are behind them as these bills continue to come in as well. You can find more information about Rylee's fight by clicking these 2 links:
