Hi everyone, my name is Kerry. I have recently found out that I have a mixed tumor on my neck, just below my ear. It started out as a small lump, but has grown significantly over the past few months. The doctors say it needs to be removed as soon as possible, which obviosly will require surgery. While it is most likely benign, they cannot know for sure until they take it out and test it. Also, even if it is not cancerous, it is in a spot where it would become problematic if it continued growing. For these reasons, this tumor must come out. My surgery is scheduled for August 19th.
Unfortunately, I do not have insurance. I fall into a loop hole in the Affordable Care Act in which I cannot afford monthly healthcare from Healthcare.gov, and yet I make too much money to qualify for assistance in healthcare. I am a single mom who works and goes to school. I don't have very much in areas of finances. I am setting aside my pride here, and asking that if anyone reading this can donate any money at all to go towards this fund, please do so. I would greatly appreciate it. My daughter would greatly appreciate it. My family would greatly appreciate it. If you cannot, I completely understand, but ask that you please share this with anyone else you know.
