Due to unforeseen and unfortunate personal circumstances, and being forced to quit my Job,
My ongoing Suffering with depression increased, which ultimately lead to a lengthy hiatus from writing or recording any new material for several years and completely losing any social life i once had.
I want to apologise for those of you who were promised a new album from Lanny C.
Music has always been my therapy for the last 27 years.. I don't know where i'd be without it, but The last 5 or 6 years have been the worst time of my life.
As a consequence of the above I was forced to sell 90% of my music & recording equipment in order to just get by.
After losing my Job I became a full time carer for my partner who suffers from Fibromyalgia, she was also forced to take early retirement from the NHS due to her lack of mobility.
I have never been the type of person to accept handouts and i find it extremely hard to ask for help, I have always worked for what i got, such was the way i was brought up, Pride obviously plays it part too.
However Rock bottom is a very lonely place , my income is embarrassingly pitiful, my social life nonexistant ,
& In order to obtain the equipment i need It would take me literally years to do it by myself..
..So here i'am going against my principles and feel i have no other choice but to ask for your help with donations towards the equipment i need.
If you wish to remain anonymous with your donations that's fine, but i would very much like to know who has donated so i can personally thank you
I would love to some day record a new album and send each and everyone one of you a personal copy to show my appreciation.
That would be my wish for the future.
