Support Tracey Trew

Donation protected
Firstly, we would like to thank all of Tracey Hamilton Trew's family and friends for all the well wishes and thoughts since June 30th, 2016. My beautiful sister suffered a major brain aneurysm, leaving her with lifelong disabilities. The journey has been both heartbreaking and challenging, with the focus being on Tracey's care, well-being and the care of her children, Jake and Emilee ; as Trac would say "her favourite people". Trac has been very involved in the local dunsborough community for 20 years, with a strong belief in community spirit and togetherness. Trac took great pride serving as a volunteer ambulance officer, that would see her on call regularly. We will never forget her putting on her uniform at all hours of the morning to attend to someone in need. Officer 19103 Trac has proudly worked in the drug and alcohol sector and has had the pleasure of being a part of people's recovery journeys. She has always seen the potential in others, and was very proud of the work she accomplished in the early days at the WA AIDS council, where she played a pivotal role in early intervention. Where we are at now... After many months spent in ICU at Charles Gardner hospital, Trac was transferred to Fiona Stanley Hospital rehabilitation, and finally onto Brightwater rehabilitation facility in April, 2017. She has already began to make improvements, and we are very hopeful to see a lot more progression in the future. Tracey's goal is to return to her life in Dunsborough, where she can be with her family and friends. Now it's time to support the Tracey Trew rehabilitation fund to help give her the best life possible... We, her family, would like to purchase the best support available so we can make this happen. All money raised will go towards upgrading her wheelchair, providing quality rehabilitation support and interventions, and purchasing a wheelchair accessible car so Tracey can get around and regain her independence. The funding will also go towards a deposit on a wheelchair friendly home in order to provide Tracey with a safe and accessible place to live. This is a big bucket list, but hey, ask for what you need! We would like to thank you all again for your love and support and a special thanks to her son in law Cory for his support to both Tracey and the family.
