Operation Graduation is here!!!!
Terry A. Jones, Jr. will be graduating June 2014 and I want this year to be the best year yet as he prepares to attend college in the Fall of 2014.
My son is an outstanding kid, who works hard in the classroom as well as on the football field, basketball court, track, and at home. He is a student-mentor to middle school kids in our community and enjoys helping other young people realize their potential. His involvement in MACScholars has been integral in his personal development as individual as is his active participation in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) activities. Terry is smart, ambitious, personable, humble, and an all around awesome son/brother/student/and Mentor. Help me to celebrate his accomplishments.
As a single parent, it can sometimes be challenging to meet the needs of our children as it is, then you throw in Senior Year and you have a host of obligations that you expect but never really know how much to expect. For instance College Application Fees, SAT/ACT Testing, Senior Pictures, Senior Fees to name a few. And then you get to the good part: Dorm Room Deposits, Prom, Senior Trip, Graduation, and the list goes on...and on....and on...LOL! So I am asking those of you who know what it's like, to consider donating to our cause before you splurge on that Pumpkin Spiced Latte from Starbucks, or that expensive lunch date think or how your small (or large) donation would mean to a young man like my son.
