Through this whole process God has renewed my faith in people. With all the negativity, violence, evil, and sinfulness that we encounter on a day to day basis its hard not to become a pessimist. Christ is my hope and he still has remnant left who is willing to obey his call. Often we are looking for God to drop the answer to our prayers out of the sky, but in most cases he doesn't move like that. He often moves through man touching the hearts of those who are in tune with his spirit. Thank you for hearing his voice and blessing me and my family. You are the answer to our prayers.
I just want to thank everyone for their contributions, help, efforts and support. Im so amazed at everyones response. You have brought my family so much hope and comfort. We pray that as you have blessed us God will bless you. Thank you so much.
I want everyone to know that we have come a long way in our journey. My sister and brother in law's bodies are laid to rest, but we still have a ways to go. We have been drained emotionally, spiritually, and physically but life goes on. We are so greatful for all that you all have done, but its not over. One thing I know God never starts something and doesn't finish it. Blessings are on the way and I'm expecting out of my God given faith.
I really appreciate the love towards my sister Brandi and my brother in law Lee. They were kind good people with beautiful spirits. The evil in this world stole them away, but I will see them again. I want back everything that enermy has taken from me, and it shall come to past. I will see justice in this life and eternity. They did not live and die in vain, and it is evident by the response from all of you. They impacted us all in such away that we are appauled by this travesty. God bless you all.
God is still blessing. My family and I thank everyone for your continuous support during this sad time. Yesterday the funeral was expecially hard for my family. My sister Brandi was our life but the lord saw that he needed her more than we did. Even though we may never understand how god works he has a reason and a season for everything. Continue to pray for our family strength . Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
God still moving! Thank everybody for what they have done and what they are going to do. I'm am eternally greatful. You are lifting a heavy burden off me and my family. I didn't know where to turn so I turned to God and he sent you. Thanks so much!!!
The bible tells us about a great spiritual mistery where a man leaves his mother and father and cleaves to his wife and they are no more twain but one flesh. It also commands the husband to love his wife as Christ love the church. To put that in a better perspective we must ask ourselves what did Christ do for the church and why? Christ died on the cross for our sins because his love for us is so great therefore a husband must love his wife to the degree in which he would give up his on life to save hers. This that real love that Jody Watley use to sang about when I was a kid. My brother in law Lee lost his life protecting his family. Now that's a real man with real love. For what greater love is this that a man should lay down his life for his brother. A man that does not take care of his own is worst than an infidel. Ladies if you are searching for real love use my brother in law Lee as a template to go by in your search. I couldn't ask for better for my sister. May they both rest in peace.
My body is tired but my spirit is strong so I continue forward. In life my sister Brandi taught me love and compassion and in death she has taught me to hope and humility. She has inspired me to love as she loved and to give of myself and receive love from others. I can only hope to have an impact on those I enounter the way she impacted those on her path. In death she is my teacher encouraging me to be a better version of myself. The response to this campaign makes me wonder when my time comes will people mourn me like this or better yet remember me and count my passing as a lost to themselves. She inspires me better yet propels forward in my spiritual journey. To God be the glory!
God is going to do exceedingly and abundantly above all what we can ask or think. When you ask for a piece of bread he always provides a loaf. I am amazed at his love, comfort, and provision. God is our refuge and strenght, a very present help in a time of trouble. This is indeed a time of trouble and he is here. It is evident through the love, compassion, and support from all of you.
I don't know why these two beautiful sweet people had to die. Only God knows. I'm just a man of flesh and blood, born of woman, a temporal being made a little less than the angels, so I struggle with this. God has an eternal perspective. His ways or not our ways. They are much higher than ours. We only gaze through a window darkly. We prophesie in part and we know in part, but I trust it will all be revealed because God has a plan. His word tells us that those who call on the name of Christ shall be saved. I know my sister was saved. She is now absent from her body and present with the lord. One day I will see her again, but now as we live and breathe we must take care of the business of the living. I pray that God helps us through you! I know for a fact that he operates through man. Tie up your loose ends on this earth because our lives are like a vapor. Death in most cases is unexpected but sure.
God is slowly but surely moving. He might not come when you call but he is always on time. Thanks to everyone that let themselves be used of God for our sake. We appreciate every prayer and every cent. I'm praying that God continues to move. We have not because we ask not so I'm asking God and all of you to help me and my family in our time of need. No amount is too little.
Also Kellia Smith and Brandi's classmates will be at the corner of Gaskin and Pine collecting monies for Brandi's funeral expense tomorrow (Fri) from 7 until. We realize that everyone does not use debit and credit cards. Wear black and give and support them in their efforts.
Brandi's funeral will be held Sat at 11at Pleasant Grove. The wake will be Fri at McIver's funeral home at 6PM.
I have been really praying on this, and I just want to thank everyone for answering my prayers. No amount of gift is too small. I'm greatful because I realize that what you have given may be your two mites. May God bless you all exceedingly and abundantly above you can ask or think.
It seems surreal. I still find it hard to believe that my sister Brandi and my brother in law Lee are gone. They loved their sweet 8 month old baby girl with all their heart. She was their world. Now she has no parents. They were both sweet innocent souls
who only wanted to care, protect, and provide for their family. What is crazy is family is who tragically took their lives. Evil possesed my brother in law Cedric Harris and he stole their lives away and ended his own. My sister April survived his murderous attempt at her life but has been forever changed psychologically and emotionally. We are blessed to only have to bury one so soon after burying my sister Constance back in February. We are so very thankful for your prayers and financial support. Please share Brandi's story with your friends.
I was just informed that scammers are trying to rip people off in my dead sister's name. My family and I are really struggling to lay my sister to rest and the devil want to raise his head and cause my family more problems. Brandi was a sweet gentle soul that would do anything for anybody. Its not right and its sad. Don't give money its not me. I'm the only one collecting money for the Paulk for Brandi's expense. Call me and verify. 912-592-9900. Thanks everybody. I had to keep it real.
I want to thank everyone and I mean everyone for their love and support. Brandi loved face book (all of you). She called you all her face book family, and that's exactly how some of you have acted in this very difficult time. I realize that some of you are having problems donating on-line, so you can mail gifts to me Charles Paulk 28 Tempa Lane Douglas, Georgia 31535. You can also call me at (912-592-9900) and I will come and get it. Thanks again. Everything you give will definitely be used to lay sweet gentle Brandi to rest.
Please share what happen to my sister with your friends if they don't know. You have not because you ask not so we are asking any and everyone for their support.
The family of Brandi Paulk-Wilson fervently request that a contribution be made to help cover her home going expenses. Brandi along with her husband Lee were shot and killed by Brandi's sister April's estranged Husband Cedric Harris. Cedric also shot April but she survived unbelievably a shot to the head with no lasting effects. Cedric later committed suicide. Brandi and Lee leave behind an eight month old little girl. Her surviving family sadly is struggling with her recent death while at the same time attempting to cover the cost of this tragedy and care for her child. They are in great need of your assistance. Any amount of contribution will not go unnoticed and will be greatly appreciated. If you would like to help please contribute through the link provide or please contact Charles L. Paulk(brother) at 912-592-9900. Brandi's family at this time would like to thank you for your support in this deep pressing matter.
