Pray For Eric

This is for Eric. This sweet boy is only 10 years old. I have had the privilege of being his teacher and watching him grow and learn for the past 4 years. Anyone who knows Eric has had sunshine upon them. This smile you see was on his face daily, bringing happiness and sunshine to all those who would see him....that is until just over a week ago when he woke up crying of a tummy ache. His mother rubbed his tummy as to ask him where it was hurting, and that's when she felt a large mass in his belly. She rushed him to the local hospital where they immediately sent him by ambulance to the Children's hospital. Every since that day it has been like a nightmare that those who love Eric just can't seem to wake up from. But worse than that is the pain that this beautiful child is dealing with. Eric has stage 4 cancer. He has a rare cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma. He has 8 spots on his lungs & they found cells in his bone marrow. Eric's daddy has quit working so he can be by his child's side 24/7. Eric's mother says she will work 150% to make up for it. I think instead of having to work overtime, she should be able to be by her little boy's side too. Eric calls for his mommy and should have her when he needs her in his time of darkness. PLEASE help lessen the pain & sadness of this family in need. PLEASE pray for little Eric to receive his mIracle of healing and fighting to be cancer free!! In Jesus name, Amen.
