1.2 Statement Of Need

With a population of 713,239 Detroit has a violent crime rate of 2,137 per every 100,000 residents. Detroit tops the list of America's Most Dangerous Cities for the fourth straight year violent crimes such as murder, rape, robbery and assault are running five times the national average. Black Tie Collective promotes advances in literary art in communities, political action, awareness, and the obligation for communities to take part in their own restoration, now and in the future in perpetuity. We educate on subjects such as financial management, being environmentally sustainable, globalization, current events and giving children an outlet in performing arts; while also focusing on enhancing communication skill, vocabulary, diversity, and comprehension skills. Mentors contribute as a collaborator and resource in children's activities rather than a dictator. We focus on positive communication approaches to create genuine relationships with children. Through sharing control and focusing on their strengths increases eagerness to learn. As well as implementing a problem-solving style to social conflict

1.1 Differentiation
Black Tie Collective is a resource to the community by providing service to the youth, which include the mentoring program, tutoring program, art classes, and curriculum courses. Our daily program emphasizes the "daily adult matrix". Daily adult matrix means children have direct hands-on experiences with people, objects events, and ideas. Children's interests and choices are at the heart of the program. They construct their own knowledge through interaction with the world and people around them. We do this by introducing problems and solutions as would occur in the real world. The core of the solutions is teaching children how to make choices and following through on their plans and decisions. Business simulation are introduced giving children real adult situation, while intellectual support on diverse materials and nurturing interactions that build high self-esteem and confidence in approaching their own learning outcomes. These unique features are what differentiate us from other organization. It is a very innovative thinking brand forward thinking concept of education. As a leader in rehabilitating the community we deliver excellent service and uncompromising dedication to educating the youth. By, making the children feel welcomed, through genuinely caring about their future.

While promoting the rehabilitation of the community through good drives cleanup programs and building an emotional attachment to the community

1.6 Benefits

The Benefits of our programs come in our research and development; we do this with our quality control process. During the quality control process we analyze compile and confirm every teaching method. The board gathers before any method can be adapted and checks the method through a process known as an A.C.C quality inspection. The A.C.C format was designed for low-income, "at-risk" children, but now is used for the full range of children. The foundation of our system has been successfully implemented in both urban and rural settings both in the U.S. and overseas

The A.C.C Up Our Sleeve

Analysis
Analyzing Is the rock of which we do everything we partake in. with over four decades of ground breaking early childhood research; the analytical mind is the foundation of which we do everything. We investigate what teaching methods are being used effectively and apply them. Investigation is vital to our operation, without proper teaching methods this facility can be of no benefit to the community.

ComplianceOur daily curriculum has had thousands of real classroom hours to demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of our research findings. Facts on paper are not always plausible in real world situations; through application in the classroom we validate the effectiveness of our research findings. If these methods are not deemed worthy of continuation then they are abandoned.

Confirmation
What works, stays. What doesn't work we cut out, our curriculum is founded on research but the core of our research lies in confirmation. When we discover there is something we can do better we do it. What works, stays and what doesn't is discontinued. The confirmation is the balance to the investigation; it is what adds value to the program.

1.7 Methodology
Mentors contribute as a collaborator and resource in children's activities rather than a dictator. We focus on positive communication approaches to create genuine relationships with children. Through sharing control and focusing on their strengths it increases eagerness to learn. As well as implementing a problem-solving style to social conflict. While focusing on staying loyal to the rehabilitation of the community through educating providing food drives and cleanup-programs. Building a foundation of youth understanding the importance of service to our community and implementing an emotional attachment to our city prominence. Doing this while focusing on educating the youth through resources that interest them. Create a high-spirited yet professional atmosphere among mentors and children by building a relationship based of mutual understanding and a respect for their skills and contribution to humanity.

1.8 Implementation
The mentors provide experiences and materials that introduce children into a cultured environment; which gives children a leg up for academic learning in grade school and college. The mentors provide opportunities throughout the day for children to do homework, use print materials and the internet. To promote subjects such as: financial management, being environmentally sustainable, globalization, and current events on a global and local level; mentors have open discussions and provide material for children to review. Students come up with questions and also bring in their own articles. Performing arts and sports that are not provided in grade school are also introduced such as: different styles of dance, Martial Arts, Wrestling, Soccer, Gymnastics, Orchestra, Opera and many other arts. Through implementing these subjects children will enhance communication skill, vocabulary, diversity, and comprehension skills
