I hope you had a chance to see Dak and the Dawgs play Thursday night (and hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving -- that game, the win and the fact that the Lord protected Dak and he wasn't hurt again MADE my Thanksgiving!)!!! There are incredible interviews with both Dak and Coach Mullen on the hailstate.com website. Give them a look if you get a chance.
As soon as I'm able, I'm going to be editing this page and the name will be changing to Huddle Up for Life and changing the Overall Goal. Everything is legally in place now for the foundation and we are excited, thrilled and humbled to be able to move forward!
I hope you and yours have a most blessed and happy and loving Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Myself, I am looking forward to trying to get to whatever bowl game MSU lands in! To say I'm excited would be an understatement!!!
Please keep our family in your prayers, most especially Dak's health in regards to his left arm!!
Love & Blessings,
The cover of the program from Peg's memorial this past Wednesday..........
I hope everyone who has contributed here will take the time to read my just-posted comment below.....God bless each of you for your support!
I'm making a bit push to hopefully get the total up before I head to South Louisiana this coming Friday. I'll be giving the money we have already raised here to Peggy, but would be so excited if we could reach $1,500 or even $2,000 by benefit time on Saturday. Please, please, prayerfully consider a donation to this worthwhile cause. And know that Peggy, her boys, and the rest of our family are tremendously grateful for your help! God bless you all!!!
John 1:16 NIV
From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another.
The Ebarb family is in awe of the blessings being poured out!! Our heartfelt gratitude to you all!!
Here's the poster about the benefit for Peggy to be held in Vinton a week from this coming Saturday, on October 26, 2013. Please join us if you can!!!
Here's the poster about the benefit!
I would like to welcome everyone to this page. This page is here to do two different things. One is to promote our first benefit which will be held October 26th in Vinton,LA.
After this event is held, it is our hope that this can become a foundation to help other families cope with the needs of a loved one who has a terminal illness.
This will be a very long process, and we are just now learning to crawl in this process. There will be up's and down's, and much learning to do. Our hope is that you will follow us, help us grow, and inspire others with the knowledge that they are not alone.
The reason this page has come to be is because of one incredible woman who has inspired everyone who's life she has touched to be the best they can be while still enjoying life. Peggy Prescott has raised three young men, Thaddeus (Tad), Jace and Dakota (Dak), who continue to show to others the love and inspiration their mom has shown to them. Ms Peggy has cancer, but by listening to her, you would never know. When she isn't talking about her boys, she talks about the positive things in life. She doesn't dwell on the negative, and with this attitude she has inspired countless number of people.
With Huddle Up 4 Cancer, we hope to continue to inspire others as she has inspired us.
With each donation of $25, we will gladly send you a Huddle Up For Cancer t-shirt. If you wish to donate less or prefer to not receive the t-shirt, we will respect your wish.
