Barrett K Scott Funeral Fund

Barrett Keith Scott - Scotty as he was know to many of his friends and family- was a dear friend and former coworker of mine. He was killed in a car accident on Monday evening, January 16, 2017, in Columbia, SC. He was on his way home on the evening of the Martin Luther King holiday. He was only 55. I always envisioned Scotty living to be an old man sitting on his porch in a rocking chair. Never in a million years did I ever think he would be gone from this life so suddenly, that I wouldn't be able to call him or see him again. He was always the first to help, always a friend to so many, and always had an ear to listen or advice to offer when any of us needed it or didn't need it. His family is small and they desperately need assistance to pay for his funeral. Scotty wanted to be buried in Columbia, SC next to his son. Scotty always paid it forward. Whatever he had he gave to help both family and friends even it meant he did without. My hope is that the many people Scotty knew and was friends with will see this and come together to pay it forward for Scotty this time, as he did for all of us so many times.
