My brother, Paul, had a brain aneurysm burst on April 30, 2013. He is a single Dad who has his kids 5 nights a week. He is a server at Via Vite and a bartender at Fries, both located in Cincinnati, Ohio. If he does not work, he does not get paid. He has been out of work for one month and the doctors are not giving us any idea of when he can return. He was in ICU for 18 days and is now home, resting and rehabilitating with the help of our 73 and 75 year old parents, who moved in with him from Detroit. He had two brain surgeries at University Hospital that saved his life. Paul has a lot to live for--mainly two awesome kids--Lexy (11) and Sam (7). He needs help to pay his rent and utilities so that he can remain in his home while he gets better. He is a good man and has never had an enemy in his life.
