Dear Facebook Family and Friends, I want to thank those who have donated and prayed and sent such kind words and thoughts. Kimberly is so blessed to have so many wonderful and caring people in her life.
As some of you may know, Kimberly arrived safely in San Francisco last week with hubby and children in tow. What you may not know is that she saw the neurosurgeon who ran some more tests. Kimberly is already suffering some neurological deficits with her speech and motor skills. Her brain surgery is tentatively scheduled for July 9th. It would mean the world to Kimberly and to me if I could get out there to her before then. If you could please donate, any amount is very much appreciated and will help get me to Kimberly. $2, $5, $3.....any amount you can spare, I will be grateful for.......My daughter has two small, beautiful children, and they need as much love, attention, and care as she does. I will tend to not only Kimberly, but to them as well and keep house while she recovers. This will allow for Kimberly to focus and concentrate on getting better and back to 100 percent. If you have already donated, or cannot donate, would you please share this post with your family, friends, acquaintances. Tweet, re-tweet, pin or blog. We really need your help.
Again thank you so much.
Dear Family and Friends, Kimberly has arrived with her children and hubby safely in San Francisco. She will see the neurologist/neurosurgeon on Thursday. I anticipate that we may find out then what other tests may be needed before the surgery is scheduled.
Thank you all so, so much for your donations and especially the prayers. Kimberly has asked that I please join her as soon as possible. If you can, could you please donate to help me get out there to my daughter. She needs the love, comfort and support of her mother. It doesn't have to be a large amount. Whatever you can afford to give will be so very much appreciated. We really need your help. Again, thank you all and please continue to pray and share this post.
Hello FB Family and Friends.......next Tuesday, June 18th, my daughter Kimberly will return to the States from Brazil. On Thursday of the same week, she will meet with the highly recommended neurosurgeon in San Francisco. The doctors in Brazil have said that Kimberly's condition is rare.
As you can imagine, I am very concerned about my daughter and I really need to be there for her to provide all the support and love that a mother can.
I also need to be there to care for my grandchildren so that Kimberly can concentrate on healing and rehabilitation.
You've all been so great with the donations and prayers. If you haven't already, would you please give a donation---any amount will be much appreciated and will help to get me to Kimberly as soon as possible.
If you can't donate please share this on your status, page, twitter, or blog to spread the word.
Again, thank you for your kindness and generosity. Blessings to you all.
Please friends, family, acquaintances help me reunite with my seriously ill daughter, Kimberly, in San Francisco, CA where she will have brain surgery to remove a lesion. This surgery will take a toll on her physically and emotionally, especially since not all of our family can be there for her. We can only afford to get one family member out there. My other children decided that it is best that Kimberly have her mom be the one to be there for her before, during, and after this lengthy, complicated, and serious surgery. My daughter has two small, beautiful children, and they need as much love, attention, and care as she does. I will tend to not only Kimberly, but to them as well and keep house while she recovers. Even donating a dollar would help, but if you can afford to give more than that please do. Every little bit helps us all more than you know. If you can't donate please share this on your status, page, twitter, or blog to spread the word so that we can get as much help as we possibly can. We sincerely appreciate all the kind donations and words of kindness and prayers. Please help us. Thank you and God Bless.
Almost halfway to the goal. Thank y'all for donating. Kimberly will be in San Francisco in less than two weeks to meet up with the neurosurgeon and schedule the brain surgery.
I am worried sick about my daughter. All of you who know how it feels to have a sick child, would you please help me get to my daughter. Whatever you can donate will be so very appreciated. It doesn't have to be a large sum: $2, $3, $7---whatever you feel comfortable in donating.
God bless you all. I wish you all a safe and happy Saturday.
Please share this post with your friends and family.
Hey y'all, thank you so much for digging into your wallets, pockets and purses.
I really need to be with my daughter before and after her brain surgery to help care for her and my two grandchildren. I want Kimberly to be able to only have to focus on getting better. I know all you Moms and Dads know what it is that I'm feeling.
Please continue to share this post. Any amount donated is much appreciated. If you cannot donate, please share the post.
Thank you again for your generosity and kindness.
Blessings to you all.
The support shown for my daughter, Kimberly, continues to remind me that there are so many caring and loving people in the world. We hear about the ugly everyday on the news, on the internet. We don't often hear about the beauty.
That is what I am experiencing. The beauty.
Thank you all so very, very much for your donations, prayers, your kind and loving words.
Please know that every donation is getting me to my daughter's side; to be there for her as any mother would want to be.
Would you all please continue to share this post with your family and friends. Every re-post helps.
Dear Family and Friends, Friends of Friends and Family;
I am overwhelmed by the love and support being shown to Kimberly, her family, and to me.
I am not a person who easily shows my emotions. I tend to hold my feelings deep inside.
I am humbled, grateful, and feeling very blessed by God and all of you who have donated, shared, expressed love and concern, prayed, and sent out the positive vibes and thoughts.
I ask that you please continue to share this post with your friends and family and ask them to please share with their friends and family. Every donation, whatever the amount, will help to get me to Kimberly.
It's hard to put into words just what I'm feeling. I am so very grateful to all of you who have donated and those of you who are praying and those of you who are sharing this message/post with your Facebook and Twitter friends and family.
Every little bit that you donate: $3.00, $5.00, $20.00--whatever you are able to give is deeply appreciated. Every little bit gets me closer to Kimberly and my dear grands and Gustavo.
I want to be there to support my Kimberly and to take some of the worry and load off of my son-in-law . I don't want Kimberly to have to worry about her children. She needs only to concentrate on getting better.
So again, thank you all. And please continue to share this post and get the word out.
In roughly 3 weeks, my daughter, will have to undergo a very dangerous and complex open brain surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. I long to be by her side more than ever, as her symptoms have progressed from migraine headaches to seizures to memory loss.
She was recently diagnosed with a brain lesion called a cavernoma hemangioma malformation that has the potential to hemorrhage and cause significant damage to her motor center, language center, and memory.
My daughter and son-in-law, have two beautiful children, and they need the added help and support of their Mom, Mother-in-Law, and Memaw before and after the surgery. However, I live in Charleston, SC and sadly do not have the funds on hand to make the journey.
If you are able to give, any amount donated will go toward getting me to my daughter in San Francisco and aiding the family.
Hi Kim and Nancy I'm sorry this is late and I know it isn't much but I'm so glad that you made it there Nancy. I love you Kim and am praying for you everyday. I am so happy and grateful that your surgery went well and you are recovering. Please keep your faith and everything will be fine.
