Hello and thanks for viewing our page.

3185 Adventures Ltd started with one simple philosophy; "positively changing lives through adventure travel"

We are currently looking for funding to help equip an outward bound centre for disadvantaged children, young adults and people who experience disabilities. This centre will provide state of the art facilities allowing people of any ablity to enjoy outdoor recreation activities, including; Horse riding, canoeing, camping, rock climbing, hiking and much much more.
We need a lot of specialist equipment and your donation goes towards covering the cost of this. It will also help us make our accomodation on site wheelchair accessible.
There are currently no facilities that cater for both able bodied and disabled people. Meaning that many families can not enjoy these activities together.

To explain, I had an idea when my father passed away to open a wilderness retreat for families that have suffered loss.  That idea has evolved over time to where we are now with developing an outward bound centre.  The centre will be accessible to all.  We will be encouraging disadvantaged children, young adults, and people who suffer disabilities to come and experience this facility.  We strongly believe that everyone can, and should be, involved in outdoor pursuits in one form or another.  No matter what your personal thoughts on your limitations may be, we know that by being in the right environment, surrounded by the right people, you will be amazed in what you can achieve.  The positivity, energy and healing power nature has to offer is incredible.  This centre will drastically improve the lives of all who use it.  Whether you’re an experienced adventurer or a first time camper, this facility and site will offer you everything to suit your abilities.  The centre will be based in The Rocky Mountains in Canada and open all year round.  Every season will offer the users a completely different experience.

We have recently met with the Make A Wish Foundation and are working with them to make this centre the leading one of its kind.  They are very keen to see our centre open, as they have yet to find a place where all members of a family can go and enjoy these activities together.  Most centres that cater to children with life threatening illnesses or disabilities do not involve siblings and parents.  We would in fact be the only centre to include the whole family and the demand for this is very high.

Every penny we made from all of this year’s trips has been ploughed into purchasing a site for the centre.  I am pleased to say we have purchased a site.  It is an amazing location.  It is set in one hundred and forty seven acres, surrounded by mountains, right on the Fraser River, and about two and a half hours from Jasper National Park.
