The violence in Syria has become worse and worse, with hundreds of thousands of people killed so far in Assad's genocide.
This summer, I aim to travel to Turkey, where I will meet with Syrians on the ground, and gather evidence of events there.
I hope to bring back photographs of the situation, film footage of the harsh reality on the ground, and other such things - things that will raise the world's awareness, and help Syrians themselves. I hope to make some sort of documentary from these findings, with the aim of raising awareness. I hope to work with friends on the ground, and to feature them in it.
I will also be doing humanitarian work on the ground with some associates, as well as personally bringing some assistance for refugees from Britain, little as it is (I am bringing a relatively small number of vitamins, tablets for clean water, some medical supplies, etc).
Your donations will help me pay for the trip there (some money to cover travel expenses), assistance for Syrians (humanitarian supplies), equipment and documentation tools, and so on. None of the money will go towards my own personal expenses (e.g., things to use in my personal life), or be used in any manner related to my personal life, aside from travel expenses. All expenses will be documented (noted down) and posted - including what I spent that was outside of the £200.
The budget is fairly modest (largely due to the fact that asking for larger amounts of money seems awkward, in relation to Syrians' other problems), but if enough people decide to back the project, then I could try and raise it higher, to gain more funding.
