Help Make Santa Sara Ranch A Reality
Donation protected
Actually, the one who needs the financial assistance is my
sister, Christine Cronin. She has been through countless quandaries, and needs this
boost more than ever. Christine was a single mom for 19 years and lost her only
daughter, Sara, after a long and treacherous five year battle with cancer in
2006. Christine and Sara had a dream to one day own property in Wyoming and
build a ranch for children with cancer to come spend the day tending to
animals, learning about farm life, but most importantly, learning that they
could still achieve the same level of happiness in their lives they had before
their diagnosis. Shortly after Sara's death,
Christine purchased the dream property to make "Santa Sara Ranch" a reality. Due
to the economic struggle, Christine wasn't able to sell her condo in Florida.
Not being able to move forward with their dream for so long, she decided to
rent out her condo. She hunted and attained a new job and apartment, prepped
her two dogs for the long road ahead, and traveled to Colorado in October 2010
to begin her new life. After a year of living an hour away from her property,
she decided to take another step closer towards the dream. Christine got a new
job in Wyoming and moved in with a friend that lived near her property. Shortly after her move in November 2011, tragedy
struck. She became severely injured in a car accident, confined to the seat of
her SUV which rolled several times, resulting in the loss of her left arm. She
has even lost her condo due to exorbitant hospital bills. Even after such a tragic events, Christine's attitude
remained positive throughout her new struggle. After the incident, she
continued to insist that the absolute worst thing to happen in her lifetime was
Sara's death. Christine hasn't and never will stop moving towards her and
Sara's dream. She has moved into a rental house with her dogs until her condo can
sell. She has placed a shed on her property so she can attain a feel for the
ranch, and go there to alleviate the stress she so unnecessarily has. Whether
she admits it or not, her life has been increasingly difficult, yet never complains
about its unfair consequences. Please help my sister achieve her aspirations
and dreams.
