Jake Foster's Dream Florida trip

Donation protected
Hi, I'm Jake Foster's Mom Debbie, I'm married to Rob and we also have another son called James.

Jake is 15 and is a lovely, cheeky, happy, cute young man. He has a condition called Leigh's Disease.
Leigh's Disease is a terminal condition and Jake will not live too see his adult years. We lost his brother Robert to this condition when he was 4. He passed away Christmas Eve 2000. I was pregnant with Jake at the time. Jake was healthy  until he was 1 and progressing normally. We was so relieved because we was told there was a risk he could have Leigh's. Sadly when he reached 1 the rug was pulled from under us. He started screaming in pain and suffering with cramps. After tests it was confirmed he also had Leigh's

Leigh's Disease affects his central nervous system. He suffers with seizures, muscle spasms, reflux, dislocated joints in his hips, wrists and knees, a weak inmune system, poor swallowing and a severe level of physical disability. He cannot sit unaided. Leigh's Disease effects his brain stem and more and more of his body will give up and he will no longer be able to breathe for himself.

Jakes brother James is 23 and also has Aspergers.
We are a very close happy family and try to do the best to make Jake's life as fun filled and make lots of  happy memories.  Jake loves Disney and everything about it. He also loves wrestling, football, he is an ardent Birmingham City fan and season ticket holder, the cinema, Star Wars, Superheros and penguins. (He gets upset because he wants a pet penguin).  We have been to Disney World before but there was lots of issues that arose due to Jake's condition which caused lots of problems. Sadly a recent MRI brain scan has shown a clinical deterioration, which will further deteriorate. This could be Jakes last holiday.

Four years ago we used Gofundme to raise money for Jake to have SDR surgery to relieve him of pain. Thank you so very much for everyone who helped.

Next year Jake will be 16 and we are taking him to Walt Disney world to celebrate his birthday. It's a day we never thought we would get to see. The holiday is booked but has to be paid for by 28th December 2016. A charity had promised to help towards the costs but when they was ready to process it, they couldn't help. It turns out that they had gave Jake a wish to go to Eurodisney when he was 18 months. Since then they have changed their name. At the moment we are really struggling to pay the amount outstanding and are worried we might lose our holiday. We have paid towards it and are still paying what we can. We are also selling things on eBay too. We have tried different charities too, but none could help. We feel really cheeky to ask but we have tried everything to raise the funds. Could you please help anything would help.

Many many thanks
