You see, I'm the author of a number of open-source plugins for the Sublime Text editor. I've released these plugins for free to the community, but they only work with Sublime Text 2.
I need to update them to work with the latest version of the editor. To do that, I need to buy a license. But as a proud father I cannot bear to spend those precious dollars on software bits.
I'm sure you have your own responsibilities. Perhaps a child, too. But you only have to give the cost of a latte. Skip your coffee today -- or perhaps this week? -- and contribute $3.50. The world will get much in return.
When I have collected $70, I will buy a Sublime Text 3 license and update all my plugins to work with the latest plugin API, and I'll even make them all compatible with Package Control!
