There was this little girl who changed her mind of what she wanted to be when she grew up every time her big sister would say something different. She looked up to her as she also showed her how to do hair, dress herself in a fashionable manner, etc. The little girl grew up to love fashion and what it represents. My name is Priscilla Truss. I am all grown up now, the seventh of ten children, and I love to style people. I finished college with a degree in social work. I love working with people, many things vintage, shopping thrift, recreating looks.
As one could discern from the opening statement, I am an aspiring fashionista whose dream is to become a stylist. I love when people express themselves through their clothes and my role is to be a part of that process. I say the world is a runway waiting on you to model the clothing. With that being said, my runway is waiting and it is time to share it with the world. I am at the point where I no longer want to keep it to myself. I now have the opportunity to follow my dreams and learn from professionals. So I am working with an internship program to set me up with a fashion internship in London. I would be picking everything up and moving to another country for 24 weeks. In light of that, I need your help! The internship is unpaid and I will have to pay for housing, food, daily living expenses, etc. I have been thankful to share my desire to pursue fashion with those around me and this is an opportunity I am giving them and many more to support me on my journey. I would be very thankful for anything that is given, no matter how much. I would need the money by September 4, 2017.
