This is very difficult for our family to put public but our friend, Sister, Daughter, Niece, and Cousin Emily Power is need of our prayers and thoughts and her family is in need of our help.
On august 28th Emily was the victim of a freak accident when a very large tree directly fell on her causing severe head, back, leg and chest trauma. Right now Emily is in the ICU and a medically induced coma fighting with every ounce of strength and conviction to survive her horrific accident and her family is with her every step of the way. Emily has an extremely hard road ahead of her once she gets past the critical stage and her parents will have an equally difficult time helping with her recovery.
In order to help Emily’s parent’s focus on her recovery we have decided to setup the Go Fund Me account to help with expense while they focus on ensuring Emily has all the support she needs. The last week has been emotionally and physically exhausting for her family but they have not left her side once and do not plan to until she is on the road to recovery. Emily’s mother has taken a leave of absence to be with her and the financial burden for the family will be enormous over the next coming months.
All funds raised will be used to help the family with house hold expenses, transportation cost’s to and from the hospital and most importantly to cover the cost of the additional medical expense they will incur during Emily’s recovery. We will be posting updates on this site to keep you informed of her progress and recovery.
