About 1 year ago I rescued my buddy "Austin" a Pit Bull.
Austin is only 3 years old, but what a hard life he has had!
He has possibly a Auto Immune disease that attacks his paws about every 2-3 months. His paws peel, split, and bleed. Then Austin limps and can't walk. Imagine being a dog that can't even walk on his own paws. Steroids seem to fix his bad paws, but never corrects the problem.
To make his life even harder just the other day he had 3 grand mal seizures in a 24hour period. How sad to watch my dog go thru this. The vet sent us home with anti-seizure medicine but says Austin needs x-rays, an MRI, Spinal Tap and neurological consultation to get a diagnosis.
All these tests are very expensive but I would like to get them done for Austin so he could live a long happy healthy life. And these tests may even get us a answer to his paw issues.
I Love my dog and he would Love you if you can help in any small way to give him the medical attention he deserves.
Every Pit Bull needs a good life!!
