Hi Everyone!
I am so honored and excited to be your Ms. Wheelchair NJ 2013!
New Jersey does not have a Ms. Wheelchair America state program, so I went through an application and approval process to be named the New Jersey Independent state delegate. As the first delegate representing New Jersey, I have assumed the additional responsibility of starting a state program for 2014. "As Ms. Wheelchair America, the national titleholder has numerous duties. These include promoting awareness of the need to eliminate architectural and attitudinal barriers, informing the able-bodied public of the achievements of the millions of people with disabilities across the nation, and assisting with the establishment of programs in all 50 states by promoting Ms. Wheelchair America."
I will compete for the title, Ms. Wheelchair America 2014, at the national competition to be held in Houston, Texas, July 15-21, 2013.
Traveling to the national competition, and starting a New Jersey state program for next all cost money and I would greatly appreciate your support! Thank you in advance!
