Taylor's Medical Expenses

Taylor was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in August of 2008, when she was 14 years old. She had a few flares on and off until January of 2015, when she started to flare again. Since then she has lost over 60 pounds and been in and out of the hospital since April. May 15th was the day that changed her life...she thought for the better. A partial colectomy was done and left her with a ileostomy until the doctors would be able to reattach her colon and small intestine at a later date. Things went wrong very fast and two more surgeries were needed to fix issues with the stoma. She has had more complications than there should have been and has been back in the hospital a few more times. As a result almost three months of work have been missed and has caused financial strain for both her and her family.

As you may or may not know, Taylor is back in the hospital in Boston and facing more surgery. This will mean more lost time at work. I am putting this together with her blessing in hopes that we can alleviate some of the stress and strain on Taylor and her family. Taylor is one of the most giving, kind-hearted people I know. She is a dedicated public servant, serving as a dispatcher for a local municipality. Please help support Taylor in her fight to regain her health!
