Let's send Iestyn to America

On June 29th we received the devastating news that our son Iestyn is diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
He spends the majority of his time at the Noah's Ark children's hospital in Cardiff receiving chemotherapy, blood transfusions and fighting illnesses that his weak immune system can not handle. His treatment is expected to last 3 years.
Already living with Autism, anyone who knows Iestyn will know what an affectionate and brave boy he is.
As we often stuggle with transport getting back and forth to Cardiff, our main aim is to raise enough money so that we can move to a home closer to the hospital.
Our second aim is to take Iestyn to America to visit his Auntie who he has only met once as a baby and take him on a trip of a lifetime to Disney World.
He has already been through so much in the past 6 weeks and has such a long journey ahead of him. It would be amazing to take him on the trip he deserves.
Any money left over will be donated to LATCH The Welsh children's cancer charity.
LATCH have been a great source of support to us these past few weeks and have helped us with counselling and providing a disability pushchair for Iestyn.
Nothing can prepare you for being told your child has cancer and it has been a very emotional and overwhelming time for our family.
Any donations we receive to this fantastic cause no matter how small would be greatly appreciated.
If you do not wish to donate to Iestyn then please consider being a blood or bone marrow donor. These children rely heavily on donated blood and bone marrow and you may just save someone's life.
