Here at historic Monocacy Cemetery , we honor our military veterans twice per year by placing flags at their grave sites. There are some, however, whose military records have not been located, nor is their burial location marked, so they go unrecognized.

We have been offered a very special opportunity to commemorate ALL of our veterans with a new memorial, sculpted by a local artist, who is donating it to Monocacy Cemetery. We, however, must provide a solid foundation and limestone base to rest it on, as well as fabricate the bronze plaque to be mounted onto it.
