Hello everyone! This is Team Warrior of Warriors Taekwondo Center. It has been a very exciting year for us. For the first time ever, 6 of our athletes competed at the 2013 USAT New York State Championships on March 16, 2013. Of the six, four went on to win 1st Place in their respective divisions, and two won 2nd Place, which qualified them all to participate at this year's 2013 USAT National Championships. The following week (March 24, 2013) they all participated at the 2013 USAT New Jersey State Championships, bringing home 3 Gold Medals and 3 Silver Medals, which helped improve their overall ranking in their divisions. They've now qualified at two different state championships, and are ready to prove themselves on a national level. They will need your help to get there!
The 2013 USAT National Championships will be held in Chicago, Illinois from July 2-6, 2013. We need to raise $3000 to help 6 kids and 2 adults get to nationals. Any donations we receive will be used to help cover the travel and lodging expenses, as well as the registration fees. Your contributions would mean so much to me, their coach, but mostly to the students and their parents, who eagerly want to see our athletes compete at nationals. We realize the economical hardships everyone is experiencing, but any donation, big or small, will be very much appreciated by everyone on Team Warrior.
All 6 athletes have been training 2-3 hours daily all year round, and based on their performance and results at the state championships, they all stand a great chance at becoming national champions.
