Restore History WWII Jeep 1943 GPW

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to view my cause, restoring this piece of history. My name is Alex Mills and I travel around the country to various public events that educate the public about history and veterans.

I found the jeep begging to be restored in Mesa, AZ a year ago and I have been slowly been fixing it up since. I started this GoFundMe originally to get the jeep running condition to show my grandfather the jeep. My grandfather, Donald Mills served during WWII and had a lot of fond memories driving a jeep in Europe. Unfortunately he passed before I was able to show him the jeep. Now I am restoring this jeep to honor the memory of my grandfather's service during WWII and hopefully if repairs can be completed in time, drive the jeep in the funeral procession.

Restoring history is not cheap, the money will be used to finish the restoration. We need to sleeve all 4 cylinders in the engine which will require a engine rebuild, replace the windshield frame with the correct WWII frame and replace other various hardware.
