Youth Video in Neskantaga First Nation

A group of youth from Neskantaga First Nation have come together in hopes of supporting the young people in their community. Neskantaga First Nation has recently declared a State of Emergency due to the high amount of suicides that have impacted the community.

The group of young people have many ideas and goals for the future of their youth, one of their hopes is to create a video explaining 'What life in the rez is like". The video will be a way for the youth to express themselves, share their story and bring light to what life really is like in Neskantaga from their point of view.

The youth are the heart of this community and have expressed a need to have their voices heard. Please help us make that possible through the Neskantaga Youth Video!
