This page is to help save Dexter Wolverton. He's a 8 month old pit puppy who was hit by a car and left in the road. His family is doing all they can to save him but have meet some financial hardships. We are looking to gather donations to help in the aid of Dexter. He means the world to this family and is best buds with his "human sister" 8 month old Amelia. Please do what you can as anything will help!
John and Lynnette met in high school. After John signed up for the Marine Corps and served a tour in Iraq he and Lynnette got married. They had a long distance relationship for 2 more years while he served two more tours and finally came back home to Cleveland, Ohio. They wanted a family very badly and after two very devastating failed attempts, they had their miracle, Amelia.
Dexter came into the Wolverton family at 6 weeks old. He was found after a weekend in some mud and bushes behind a business. He was believed to have fell from a 20ft retaining wall. The Wolvertons gladly took him as their own to raise along with their own miracle, little Miss Amelia. Amelia and Dexter are the same age and are crazy about each other. Now Dexter is fighting another battle. He has skull fractures, fractures in his jaw and air escaping his lungs. While the Wolverton family had done the best they can, Dexter still needs about $10,000 more worth of surgery. Anything you can give can help.
