PB&J for the Homeless
Donation protected
Volunteers from our local fife school district and community meet each week every Monday from 7-8 @ Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Milton to make 500 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the homeless. Sandwiches are delivered each Tuesday morning to the Tacoma Rescue Mission . We have been doing this for over 5 years now with over 136,000 sandwiches made. We are always looking for ways to get our supplies of creamy peanut butter and seedless jam, jelly and ziplock bags. Different businesses , Girl Scouts , and individuals have donated supplies but we continue to struggle keeping enough supplies on the shelves so thought using go fund me may give people a way to help with this outreach . We have found cash and carry have the best prices on supplies and know it would cost approximately 300.00 per month if we were to purchase supplies ourselves. We are hoping people will find this an easy way to donate financially to this project .We appreciate you taking time to read about our project . Thank you !!! Keith & Jenni
