We are the National Educator Program (NEP). We are a Colorado-based non-profit corporation that supports teacher training and school improvement throughout the United States and worldwide.
Our Project New Hope has us working in partnership with the Kandahar Institute of Modern Studies (KIMS). KIMS provides education and career opportunity to young women in brave defiance of the Taliban.
As NEP works with KIMS to help spread "career academies" from American public schools to Afghanistan, we have need to bring two educators and a student to the United States for extensive career academy training.
Any amount you can donate will go to student tuition, supplies, and to help train our fellow Afghan educators. This will help provide equal education and opportunity for young women, thereby promoting peace in that volatile region. So, strike a blow for world peace!
