Plano Senior High School's (Plano, TX) 5th Annual "Maroon Out for the Military" football game will be played on Friday, September 2nd
364 Collin County, Texas, men and women have given their lives in the service of our country. Plano Senior High School will be honoring these men and women when the football team will wear the names of 60 of these service members on the back of their jerseys, instead of their own names, along with the corresponding service patch on the front.
The money raised will cover the creating, sewing on, and removing of the name plates and the sewing of the service patch. There will also be a special program created to honor all 364 even if their names are not on a player's jersey.
This Go Fund Me page was created by the LCpl Jacob D Hayes Marine Corps League Detachment, Collin County, Texas. The funds raised will be donated to the Plano Senior High School Football Booster Club to cover the costs incurred to make this special event happen.
