Need Emergency Surgery!

Dear Friends,


I was in a car accident last weekend and fractured my right ankle in two places. Going through an off ramp intersection a woman ran the red light and hit my car. I am really lucky, if she had hit the drivers side door i probably would not be here today. A claim with the other drivers insurance company has been filed. I have focused for the last four days on finding a doctor that will do the surgery and wait for the insurance payment. Every doctor I have called will not accept the insurance and I am running out of time! I do not have medical insurance, so that is not an option I can consider. Two orthopedic surgeons have told me I need surgery asap. I must have the surgery within the next week before my fractures heal or they will have to re-break the bones to correct the damage. If there is anyone that would be willing to donate or loan me the money I need to have the surgery. I do not have the exact amount that is needed but it looks like it is going to be at least $5,000. At the advice of my close friends I have also set up a paypal account that will allow anyone to transfer money to me. If you can think of anyone you could forward this message to help please do pass it on as soon as possible.


The one thing that is so clear to me is how broken our health system is and to never be with out some sort of health care! Please know anything you can do is greatly appreciated. . Also, please feel free to call me and verify if you feel the need.
