Mission Trip to Orphanage in Trinidad

Hello Family and Friends,

I will be participating in a mission trip to Trinidad from May 2nd to May 17th.  Our team of 13 people are will be doing construction projects on an orphanage called Whitefield's Childrens Home located in the town of Cunupia in central Trinidad.

There are a number of repairs that need to be done on the orphanage including installing cabinets in the kitchen, roofing, fixing walls around the orphanage, and anything else we can help with to make these kids lives easier.

When signing up to go on this trip, I was shown a picture of one of the little girls, and with her big brown eyes and dark curly hair, she reminded me of my little 3 year old.  How could I say no to helping these children? 

Thankfully, with the love and support of my wife and four kids, I have the opportunity to help these kids.  When I told my kids about the trip, they didn't want me to leave them.  After I told them that the kids I will be helping in Trinidad didn't have any mommies or daddies and this is where they have to live, they told me I had to go and help.  Unfortunately, I cannot afford the total cost of the trip and need to ask my friends for any donations they can help me with.
