Clash of the Genres startup

The start:
Clash of the Genres started as a fun side project between a group of college students wanting to make their own custom board/card game.  3 years later it has become a fully illustrated and professionally tested product, ready to be shared with the public.  It is designed to be a strategic, but simple battle game between 3-8 players using a community deck of cards to deal out damage. The format of the game encourages custom play, and has a huge potential for expansion.

History/what's next:
Over the course of 2016, the creator of the game (Matthew Ben Davis) has been focusing on PR and crowdfunding  in order to afford the first manufacturing order.  The game was playable at Denver Comic Con, it will be featured on Fox31 Denver, and has two more conventions scheduled for the year. Social media will continue to cover the progress of the game's development, and a digital copy of the game is being worked on in the meantime also. Expansions will come when the funding allows it, but concepts and early drafts are already in the making.

Funding
Since this is a newly formed company, a smaller order has to be made first. With $5k, an order for 100 units can be placed. Any additional funding will go towards development of more features and orders for more copies. If at any time the company (Indie Pineapple Inc.) raises more than $10k, a bulk order can be placed for [phone redacted] units. This can lead to international versions,  app versions, and more. The first order will be made as soon as the initial $5k goal is met.
