Peter Christopher Solook, age 34, of Bayonne, NJ passed away on Saturday May 14, 2016 at home.
He was born on September 15, 1981 in New Brunswick, NJ. He had lived in Bayonne, NJ and Jersey City, NJ for the past 10 years, moving from Lebanon, NJ.
He was the son of James and Christine Modos Solook, both of Lebanon, NJ.
Peter was formerly Director of Operations of GfK in New York, NY.
Peter was a devoted and loving son, brother, and friend who never gave up in times of adversity and pushed forward. He was a people person and was very active in his neighborhood.
He enjoyed playing pool, was in a pool league in Bayonne, NJ, and was recently nominated for the Rookie of the Year award 2016. He was always interested in learning about many different things through his work and his life. He also enjoyed his Audi, carpentry, cooking, snowboarding and the ocean.
Survivors in addition to his parents include one brother, Stephen Solook and his partner Tiffany DuMouchelle of Buffalo, NY and one sister, Kathryn Solook of Washington DC. He is also survived by his fiancée, Cecily Reid.
Calling hours will be Friday, May 20, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral will be Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11am. All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment will be private.
