Help Us Support Homeless Veterans
Donation protected
At its inception in 1993, MCVET started with four veterans and a dream. That dream was to house and uplift men who fought for their country. Since then, MCVET has expanded to include female veterans, and we now work tirelessly and proudly to return our veterans to their communities as productive citizens.
To fulfill our mission, though, takes money as we operate a 110,000 sq ft facility 365 days per year. Our veterans sleep, shower, eat, and entertain at MCVET. Our veterans are fed three meals per day, every day, and MCVET is their home. They receive mail here, use electricity to shave, brush their teeth, get dressed, and to watch television.
In twenty-one years, we proudly stand behind our statistical data, which shows that 10,000 veterans have entered our facility, with well over 70% receiving a vast array of comprehensive services, leading to reunification with family, employment, and permanent housing
Our doors are always open to the public for tours, and we encourage people to come take a look for themselves at what we do and how we do it. Our program is unique in that we are militarily structured. We know there were reasons our nation’s heroes were rendered homeless and we work to help them overcome those barriers before returning them to their own homes or apartments. The funding from this campaign will be used to help us in our general operating funds for electricity, water, food, and other utility bills to help our veterans succeed in their personal goals so they can return home.
