Hi. My name is Margie, and I have a passion for helping people who, like myself, are considered morbidly obese (100+ pounds to lose) get prepared to change their body/life through pursuing improved health/nutrition, and I need your help to be able to truly make a difference. The initial scholarship will fund my ACE Health Coach certification. I'll then do 300 hours of service to my community, and then will pursue a certification as a Behavior Change Specialist in the health/fitness field. I can't tell you how completely excited I am about that!! Me?? Yes! ME!!! I think I can...NO, I know I can...NO, better yet, I WILL!
I'll tell you about myself, since you are investing in my cause.
-It has taken me years to reach the point where I am firmly on my path to reaching my health/nutrition goals. With your help, I can cut that time way back for others by being able to provide a shortcut. No need to reinvent the wheel, right?
-Helping others helps me be successful in reaching my goals. I want to teach that principle to others, so we are all paying it forward to someone who needs help and adding a layer of accountability for our own goals.
-I use my experience and education in psychology, behavior modification, and training and development to offer my assistance to people who feel they are all alone on their journey. You should NEVER feel alone!
-ALL of the funds will go to further the services that I provide to those who reach out to me as their partner in better health.
-I will provide feedback via my blog at 241Journey to allow you to see how your support is helping others.
